Discover Liberia with your rental car
The city of Liberia is a happy mix of historic buildings and modern edifices lining its streets, making it easy to navigate by car. If you want to get out of the city and see more, you'll have your chance with the rental car: in just 23 minutes by car, you can admire the Llanos del Cortés falls. The surrounding vegetation is abundant and its height impressive. You can even go swimming and enjoy a beautiful white sandy beach.
You can also jump in your car and head to the Canyon Río Liberia just a few kilometres outside the city and admire the viewpoint as well as the Rincón de la Vieja volcano with its permanent seismic activity. If you are a lover of thrills, you should also go to the Corobici River and go white water rafting. Its rapids are rated levels I and II. In addition to the rapids, you can also peacefully enjoy the tranquility of the river landscape and the birds that inhabit the area.
