CHANGE AND CANCELLATION FEES

CHANGE
For any change: driver, model, delivery location or date (*)
Reduced fees can be granted on a case-by-case basis for a change of model, delivery date or location, if it occurs within a reasonable lead time, and are subject to the chosen model's availability on the requested date and at the requested location. Late changes are more complex to implement during the peak season (from middle of June).
Caution: The customer must observe the appointment time to take possession of his vehicle, or else he/she could be asked to pay additional fees on the spot. We therefore recommend that you warn the delivery agent in the event of a change in a connecting flight or the appointment time that was initially set. (*) During the contract, the customer can directly warn Peugeot Open Europe of a change in the return location (refer to Peugeot Open Europe Guide Book). |
CANCELLATION
1/ General rule:
3/ Upon delivery: 3.1/ If the customer is not satisfied with the vehicle presented and wishes to cancel his/her order, he/she must absolutely not take delivery of the vehicle. In this case, the cancellation fees above apply. 3.2/ If the customer wishes to change his vehicle for another, which is subject to availability, Peugeot Open Europe will directly bill him/her 700 Euros for miscellaneous expenses (unregistration of the car, reregistration of the new one, preparation and transportation, creation of a new file, insurance…). Europ Auto Vacances will adjust its billing to take the new model into account, with a $50 increase for general and administration fees. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| PICK UP POSTPONED: When the vehicle is registered and the date of Pick Up is postponed for 15 days and more, Peugeot Open Europe must imperatively, referring to the French Custom Authorities, un-register the vehicle. Consequently a $1150 cancellation fees will be systematically charged, where ever the delivery takes place (these fees are including: un-registration of the car, re-registration of the vehicle for the postponed date of delivery, transportation cost when outside of France, creation of a new file, insurance...). |
| IN THE EVENT OF AN ACT OF GOD (death of the contract holder or of a next-of-kin, a critical illness or a major accident duly established by a manifestly proper medical authority), reduced fees may apply upon the presentation of the supporting documentary evidence (PLEASE contact us). |
