July 1st to July 18th, 2007 - Peugeot 207
It was our first experience with the Buyback option and we had chosen a Peugeot 207 diesel with GPS, which had 4 km on the odometer upon its delivery in Toulouse. My co-pilot was treated to true holidays, having delegated her responsibilities to the onboard computer throughout our 4,800 km tour, which took us to Spain and in the south-west of France, ending in Paris (Charles-de-Gaulle). The car’s handling was very good, with lots of torque, which reduced the amount of shifting when going uphill. Great fuel economy and we really appreciated the options, including the refrigerated glove compartment. The GPS made driving a lot easier, even in Paris, where the system warned us of traffic congestion. We were quite satisfied with the Buyback option with GPS, and we will choose this formula again for our next trip in Europe.
